Items and Upgrade Components in World of Warcraft
Upgrading items can be an excellent way to boost the value of your weapon and armor. However upgrading your magic and standard gear is rarely worth the investment as uncommon or exclusive equipment will outclass it quickly.
Upgrades can be made to an item up to six times. Each upgrade will add points to the gauge of level of the item.

Glyphs
Glyphs are the upgrade materials that can be used to boost the attributes of an item. Glyphs can be used to upgrade weapons or armor. They can also be used to improve the quality of a ring, hat, necklace or other accessories. Glyphs can be found in various levels and are sold by vendors in Deneb. They're costly, but they're worth it since they boost the stats of an item.
A glyph is a type of character that encodes the shape of a symbol, a letter, or numeral. It has a particular appearance and is given a unique code which refers to it in various fonts. Apart from regular letters, glyphs could also include special characters like mathematical symbols or arrows. They can also represent icons or symbols that are utilized by a particular language. There are also ligatures which join item upgrades , and swashes as decorative symbols.
There are many types of glyphs and a font could contain multiple variants of each. The default glyphs in Adobe Caslon(tm) Pro, for example, include all of the regular characters, along with ornaments, swashes, fractions and ligatures. You can see these variations in the Glyphs Panel and insert them directly into your document.
Glyph measurements are the parameters that determine the way a text layout is constructed. These metrics are determined by various variables, including the advance width and side bearings. These measurements are vital to ensure that the glyphs are placed properly on the screen and are displayed correctly in text.
The Glyphs Panel is a powerful tool used to create new designs for documents or alter existing ones. It can display all characters in a font or it can be refocused to a specific group of glyphs, like punctuation or math symbols. The panel can be resized and accessible from the Windows menu bar. Glyphs should be used carefully to avoid unexpected results.
The Glyphs Panel is a bit confusing since it displays all the possible glyphs for the font currently in use and not just the ones that have been inserted most recently. Click the widget for cycles just to the left of "Glyphs" to get an even closer look at the glyphs. You can then choose to view the panel collapsed or expanded, or to only show the newly added glyphs.
Growthstones
When you upgrade an armor, weapon, or accessory, you can use Growthstones to increase its stats. This process is time-consuming, and it's possible that the item won't be at its intended level. For instance, a typical headpiece can be upgraded to level six, but not to level nine. The maximum level of upgrade for an item depends on its quality. Rare and Epic items can be upgraded to level nine, whereas Uncommon items can only reach level six.
You can get Growthstones from various NPCs in major cities, or from the auction house for players. You can also collect them as a reward for the Ancient Arena Season. These items can be used to boost skills that are passive, and also to level up weapons and armor.
Once you have enough Growthstones you can go to any Equipment Enchanting NPC and raise the upgrade level of your gear. Growthstones are required for a variety of weapons, armor and accessories. You can also find Active Skill Growth Books and Passive Skill Growth Books at these NPCs, and the special Precious Skill Growth Book: Omnipotence can be used to upgrade your weapon's capabilities to the highest level.
While you can upgrade your equipment and abilities through these NPCs but you'll have to spend a significant amount of money on the process. Each upgrade level costs a certain amount of Valorstones and crests, with weapons usually costing the most. Additionally, you'll need to take on certain quests to obtain the required items. For instance, if you are looking to upgrade your armor, you will need one of the three Power Dices dropped by monsters 21 and over in addition to a certain amount of Erons and Minerals.
Recycled items
Recycled items are made from materials that were previously wasted. These materials include paper, glass bottles and plastics. Aluminum cans and electronics can also be recycled. In addition to saving resources, recycling can reduce the necessity to extract or harvest new raw materials from the Earth. This helps prevent harmful disruptions to the natural world and help reduce pollution of water, soil, air and other ecosystems. It also reduces the necessity of cutting down forests, diverting rivers, or harming wild animals to harvest new materials.
Many of the items we reuse are used to create new products. For example, a recycled glass bottle could be turned into a new jar or a new piece of fiber glass. Aluminum can be made into a thumbtack, or a license plate. Even an old piece of newspaper can be used to make a new notepad, or an envelope. Asphalt, automobiles, steel and many other materials can be reused.
It is crucial to know what can and cannot be recycled to maximize the recycling process. Paper that is in your recycling bin, for example could cause damage to the sorting equipment or cause problems with recycling facilities. Use cloth towels or recycled grocery bags to cut down on the amount of plastics you throw in your garbage. In addition, placing wire hangers in your recycling bin can create fires and other hazards for facilities that process recyclable materials.
The best option is to only recycle the items that your local recycling program accepts. Look online for acceptable materials in your locality. Typically, cardboard containers (including egg cartons and shoe boxes) and tissue boxes, paper bags as well as tin cans and steel or aluminum cans are all recyclable. Glass containers for food and beverages are also acceptable, but they must be cleaned prior being put in the recycling bin.
The items that don't belong in your recycling are plastic grocery bags, batteries and wire hangers. These items can cause fires at recycling facilities and cause tangles to recycling equipment and trucks. It is better to bring these items to the nearest recycling drop-off location.
Suffix
Suffixes can serve as upgrade components to improve weapons and armor. They can be reclaimed from items that contain them or purchased from the merchant using Salvage Kit. Upgrades are color coded to indicate what kind of item they can be applied to. The upgraded items can be sold to a merchant for gold. Upgrades can be done with two prefixes and one suffix. Upgrades can only be applied to items with blue or higher rarity, such as those dropped from end-chests in Factions and Nightfall campaigns. Upgrade components cannot be used to create new items.
A suffix is a word or group of letters that adds meaning to a larger word like -tion in the verb create or -phoria in the noun sense. Suffixes also have the ability to alter the pronunciation of a word. For instance the suffix -er in English and German's suffix -ismus. They can even re-write a word, like the adjective defenseless being unprotected.
There are many suffixes for adjectives, verbs and nouns and adverbs. Suffixes added to words can change their meaning or pronunciation and some even have rules that apply. Suffixes can be used to alter the grammatical rules of words, for example, adding -ness to make a word an adjective, or -ic to make the possessive noun.
In addition being used to add a new meaning to words, suffixes may also be used to create new names of individuals and places. For instance, a person who is single may be named "Paulauskaite" while married women would have the name "Paulauskiene".
The most frequently used suffixes signify status. These include -ion and -ist. They can also be used to define the personality traits of a person like -iveness or -phoria.
Items affixes can be used to give weapons and armor additional parameters. These are often a combination of one or more suffixes or prefixes. For instance -Fiery boosts the power of your atk by introducing fire elemental damage. Affixes for items can be applied to all items up to level 80 and are not applicable to made ascended armour and trinkets crafted by hand.
